And so my favorite trip thus far is coming to an end. Kel, Jor, Lib and I slept in until 10, grabbed our last yummy English Breakfast and packed our bags.
We decided to spend the day walking around Dublin to see all of its historical attractions..and do a little last minute shopping. We walked up and down O'Connell Street were we went into some department stores. Jordan grabbed some awesome shades that had a visor attached to them. She always buys the weirdest shit. We went into my favorite store, River Island, which is only found in the UK. I got some shorts which I was pretty happy about. After doing some shopping, we walked into a pub and sat down for our last beer. We met up with Tim, who was staying until Tuesday, and hung out with him for a while.
After a drink, we went and walked to Trinity College. It has a beautiful campus with hug, old buildings. I would love to go there if I lived in Dublin. Across from Trinity is the famous Bank of Ireland. We went inside and saw the House of Lords. The building has no windows, because back in the day when it was built, there was a tax on glass so they built the place with no windows! Thank you Tour Guide! It is gorgeous inside, with painted ceilings, etc.
After the bank, we did some souvenir shopping and I got an Ireland to-go coffee mug. I had been looking for one in Paris for a while, and I guess they don't know what they are, so I thought my one souvenir should be that.
Then, It was time to go to the airport. We said goodbye to Tim, took one final snapshot and were off to the airport. We didn't get home until 1 a.m., but it was way better than flying super early in the morning. We were all exhausted but had a blast. So many pictures were taken and there are many videos. I had a blast and can't wait to reunite with everyone again in Munich for Springfest. It is going to be epic!
