Jour 9- A cheese tasting gone awry!

Bonjour,

Today was quite a day of eating. It began with me sleeping in until 11:30 a.m. The night before was way too fun and I didn't go to bed until late... standard. So after I finally awoke, I got ready, and Jordan and I headed to the API center for a cheese tasting with Pascal.

I have never consumed so much cheese in one sitting! The cheese was excellent, and were from various regions all over france. My favorite are called Cantalis, Brie, Goat Cheese, Ortay-Itis, and some other funky french names. The thing is, we paired it with bread, so we added on way to many carbs this day! It was a cool experince though. Trying over 20 different types of cheese doesn't happen every day, especially in France!

After we hung out at the center for a while and screwed around. Then Kylie, Joy, Jordan, and myself went and did a little SOLDES shopping. I know, but it's so hard to resist! After this month there are no sales, and I won't buy a thing! I promise!

After, Jordan and I went and got food at this CROUS site called Bulier. It is a cafeteria and had interesting food. The weirdest thing about it was when we sat down, no one really spoke to each other. The French are weird eaters. They keep to themselves constantly; no interaction, no emotion. It got wayyy to awkward for us so we finished up and came home. The night ends with me putting up pictures, buying 2 round-trip tickets to Amsterdam for the 22nd-24th and calling it a night!
