Jour 34-38 Some Catching Up To Do.. Beginnings of an EPIC weekend

Sunday: another lazy Sunday to add on to my belt. I slept in, made food, watched 3 episodes of True Blood on my computer and hung out with the gals. A positive of the day was that it was the Superbowl in the states. Unfortunately, there is a time difference, and instead of it airing at 3pm eastern time, it was scheduled to air here at 12:30 a.m.

Jordan, Kelly and I wanted to do something for it because we are Americans and we gotta live it up. We wanted to go to a bar that was going to air the game, but there are only a few. We researched a few, but when it got down to it, we just didn't feel like going out. There were too many cons... I didn't want to party, it would be crowded, the metro would close and we'd have to take a taxi home. I was lazy and feeling cheap.

Therefore, Jordan and I decided to stay in (Kelly went to a bar cuz she's crazy) and we were going to wait it out. Besides, the basement of our dorms has a t.v. so we figured we go down there early to get prime seating. While time is passing, Jordan is making a t-shirt in support of the Colts. Out of nowhere she becomes this die-hard fan and is obsessed with Peyton Manning. I don't know where it came from. So she makes two horseshoes, tapes them on her breasts and draws black eyeliner on her face saying "go colts". What a weirdo.

30 minutes before the game starts, our friend Azaam comes in our room and informs us that the basement is packed. There is literally no room available. Well that's not good, cuz I'm not about to sit on the floor. I start getting a negative vibe and decide I don't care to watch the Superbowl anyways. It wouldn't be over till 2 anyways, and I don't care for either team, blah blah blah yadddah yaddah .

So I decide fo-get about it! and I go to bed.

Monday-Thursday: consisted mostly of going to class for the second week and securing my seat in all my classes. It's a battle for seats in international classes. While the week is passing, Jordan, Kelly and I start planning an EPIC weekend with Clay and the guys. We haven't partyed with them in a long time, and this is the last weekend before they have their break. We wanted to go out with a bang, so we decided we were going to go out every night, stay out late, and have fun.

We'll see if we live up to these expectations. Also Ali, my guy friend from SDSU who is studying in Barcelona, arrives and I need to take him out and show him a good time. So much to do, I better get my rest now!
